Association was formed by Nina Chua, Ying Kwok, Jessica Longmore and Sarah Sanders to explore the potential of collaboration through a series of experiments.
For the first experiment the process of drawing will be broken down into four stages: Conception, Material, Action and Execution. Each stage will be undertaken by one of the four artists. The first artist will provide a set of conceptual constraints. These guidelines will be handed over to the second artist who will select the material. The third artist will instruct the action and finally, the fourth artist will execute the work.
A representation of each stage will be shown at the launch.
